In this model, the uranium has two oxygen axial atoms (Oax) at distance of 1.77 Å and two types of equatorial oxygen atoms (Oeq1 at a distance of 2.33 Å and Oeq2 at a distance of 2.46 Å). The uranium is coordinated to carboxyl groups in a bidentate fashion, with an average distance between the U atom and the C atom of 2.87 Å, and to phosphate groups in a monodentate fashion, with an average distance between the U atom and the P atom of 3.60 Å. In addition, there is a U-U bond distance of 3.65 Å.
